Start my fit check on the full costShort answer: Compare them on your own numbers and your own needs. Put last year's deals into each brokerage's written fee schedule, list the support you'd actually use, and check each one's rules on leaving. eXp publishes its split and fees at exprealty.com/income. Get the others in writing from them.
I'm not going to knock another brokerage. Plenty of great agents are at every one of them.
What I'd do is build a simple side-by-side. Rows for split, cap, monthly fees, per-deal fees, support, training, branding rules and team rules. One column per brokerage.
Fill in eXp's column from eXp's official costs and income disclosure (exprealty.com/income). Fill in the others from their written fee schedules, not a recruiter's slide.
Then add one row most people skip: what does it take to leave? You want to know that before you sign.
eXp is a cloud brokerage, so there's no local office in the traditional sense. Some agents love that. Some miss the office. Know which one you are.
