Start my fit check on real supportShort answer: Start with what you want the business to make possible, then work backward. Most agents get more time by cutting admin and getting help, more income by keeping more of each deal and getting more repeat and referral business, and more security by building a business that doesn't depend on one lead source.
Most agents don't change brokerages because they want a new logo. They change because the business they built doesn't fit the life they want anymore.
So start there. What do you want your business to give you in three years? More time with family? More control? Something steadier?
Then look at where the time and money go now. How many hours a week on paperwork? What did you pay your broker, all in? Where did your last 10 clients come from?
Some of that you can fix anywhere. Follow-up, for one, moves with you. Some of it depends on your brokerage. Be clear which is which before you decide anything.
No brokerage guarantees income. Be wary of anyone who says otherwise.
