Start my fit check on real supportShort answer: Yes, but it takes setup. Agents who take real time off usually have someone covering their clients and a plan for which weeks they're gone. Some time it around closings. Your brokerage's support and rules affect how easy that is.
Most agents I know haven't had a real week off in years. The phone comes on every trip.
Time off comes from coverage, not luck. Who answers your clients while you're gone? Who watches your pending files? Who sends the follow-up?
Most use a trusted partner agent or a team. A transaction coordinator helps too.
Cost matters too. At eXp, once you hit the $16,000 annual cap you keep 100% of commission for the rest of your anniversary year, minus transaction fees, per eXp's official costs and income disclosure (exprealty.com/income). Some agents plan their year around that. It's a cost detail, not a promise of time off.
Ask any brokerage what coverage and support you'd have when you step away.
